Project InformationBackground The iSNAP Education Project provides producers and agricultural profesionals with opportunities to get the latest information on emerging nutrient and pest management alternatives that meet today's need for low-cost, effective, environmentally-friendly land management. Supported by the USDA Risk Management Agency, Oregon State University Integrated Plant Protection Center and US EPA. Project Goal The goal of this Pacific Northwest project is to increase the ability of producers and agricultural professionals in sustainable implementing pest and nutrient management practices that enhance farm productivity while protecting the environment. Audience This project is open to all producers and agricultural professionals who are involved with nutrient and pest management in agricultural operations. Interested groups might include: NRCS, Cooperative Extension, Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD), Certified Crop Advisors (CCA), consultants, growers and other agencies with regulatory or planning responsibilities.
